What is the best way to use proxies to get the maximum visitors for yer hotel? I have not figured out a way that is not tedious.
I want to get more visitors to my hotel, but I cannot seem to get them on a regular basis.

Someone recommended proxies, but I do not know much about them.

If you don't mind, i would like to say - If you don't know much about this - then don't go ahead :)

This is not a simple things. It is more easy for those people, who having study about this since some years. Even, sometimes, those people aslo worried about this.

But, if you still wants to know - i can say something. I am not eng about this, but i know a little bit about this.

1 - You can search them from net : But, all of them are not good.

2 - There are some website, who will give you good list : but, you have to pay for it by real money.

3 - There are some forums. Where you can find : But, you have to do something there - what they want.

Main thing is - you must know - Proxy are like a "flopy disc". They wont alive for a more times. Sometimes your proxy will work for a few hours, sometimes for a few dasy. But, it is your luck. Every day, you have to search them. If you get a good site, may be you can find 10 good and 40 normal proxy by searching 500. And it is more hard work. Firs time, you will think - its good - but after 1 or 2 days, you will give up :P

It is like a candy - like, i need it, go to shop, buy one and eat. And after eat - it is finished. Sometimes, you can eat them for 2 or 3 times. And if your luck is good, and get a good friend, may be they could help you to give you some fresh proxy.

But, how many days ? they will will do it ? :)

I think, the better way is :

Make some nice friends, who will visit your hotel - always.

OR

Use link exchange site to get visits.

What are some good link exchanges? I know of two but there got to be more.

Look, at first - think - there are nothing in this world to get free.

You must do something to get something right ?

And link exchange also same. Help others to get help.

If you help 1 person, you will be helpped for 1 time. If you help 100 people, then 100 people would like to help you.

Anyway, i think - Link exchange also not good for Yer hotel. They are good for other games like - Dragon, Valenth, Pony - and like these games.

Cause, those game has no limitation for clicking like yer hotel. But, yer hotel has maximum 90. And after get 90 visits, you have to batiance for next 24 hours, and you have to lose your credits, what you earned by a hard try.

Well, in my opinion - the best way is - make friends - help them, and get help from them like - help you to visit your hotel :)

@vrototurtle: Don't be afraid, using proxies is quite simple. If you need to visit only one hotel, then after proper instalation of a program, all you have to do is to double-click an icon once a day. If you need to visit two hotels, then after proper instalation of a program, all you have to do is double-click two icons once a day.
Tell me - are you sure you haven't installed Java in your computer? It is hardly possible, there are so many internet pages which need Java...

PS. Link exchange sites are not good for yer hotels but not because you loose credits after you get 90 visits, rather because you don't get any visits at all: if someone clicks several links to yer hotels in a row, then only the first one gets a visit, right?

I have java installed now. It is actually my computer does not know how to read the cmd file.
This computer is using Windows Me. My windows xp notebook is acting up right now, which explains why I am using windows me.

It's easy. :) In Windows ME, you need to rename the extension of the .CMD file to .BAT . (Windows ME is DOS based, and newer versions are Windows NT based.)

Link excahnges are GREAT for hotels...BUT you have to use them CAREFULLY, that's all.

HYDRA is especially great now, because it can allow you to pre-set how many visits you want to each link, and will not use more than you specify. That was a newer update there not long ago.

YAROLDS is good as well, but there it uses more credits (5 per visit), so you have to watch carefully when you have a hotel link 'active' and showing there...and just remember to not show it once you have enough visits each day.

UTOPIA is another link exchange, BUT they cannot use Hotel links there with the way their system works....BUT they are a GREAT one for OTHER certain link types, that they DO work with, and can be used for other link types you may have, and save link spaces that would have to be used up on the other 2 exchanges otherwise.

And Utopis only requires 1 full run of it's system (takes about 10-30 minutes) ONCE every 3 days, and you links will get regularly visited about 1/minute for 72 hours each time you do a run there.

@Solrayne: After a (long) while, I think I have to agree with you. I mean, link exchanges are GOOD for yer. Indeed, if the first hotel on the list gets his/her (say) 90 clicks, then though with the next clicks the owner looses the credits, he/she doesn't block clicks (the clicker is informed ``You have still one visit"), and the next hotel in the list gets the visitor. Since at Hydra there are about 800 users and only a few yer links (less than 10, I guess), every yer hotel gets filled. It would change if the number of yer links increases to, say, 30, but now it is OK.

why would people cheat to get visits

so proxies are cheating? oops I did not know. someone suggested that I used them to get visitors.

I will read the rules to see if I can or cannot use proxies.

So, you think using proxies is cheating? Maybe you are right. But then using link exchanges is also cheating - you don't know the people from such sites, they even don't know your link is a link to a hotel...
And creating several hotels is also cheating - you can't do it without a trick, right?
And if one couldn't use anonymous travellers and one would like to revisit each his/her guest, he/she could have no more than 12 rooms, and the hotel can have up to 90 rooms. :(

Later, the `Unique person' is defined as `Someone coming from a unique IP'. So, it _is_not_ against the rules to use proxies - a click from a proxy is a click from a unique IP. :)
