It's been done at least once since I started at the beginning of the year.

At the reset, everyone was reduced to one hotel ... which is fine if you only HAVE one hotel ... but if you have more than one hotel (I now have three and I had two then) your surplus hotels together with all their income and the capital you've spent on them just disappears ... poof! :-((((

Besides, the owner and admin (Muszek who hasn't visited a hotel since 30th June 2009) is more-or-less an absentee landlord and we are left to muddle along by ourselves with very little help.

The use of proxies to fill a hotel with anonymous visitors, especially when every single one of them blatantly comes from the same country as the owner of the hotel, makes a mockery of the game, as far as I'm concerned.

I've thought about leaving several times and I nearly did at the last reset. But I stayed and I've built up my hotels since then. Another reset may well see me hang up my hotelier's hat and move on :-\

Unless they've gone to a forum or website that was only in one language, and those who happened to speak that language happen to live in the same country...

The reset button belongs to Muszek and him alone. As developer and co-coder of this site, he is the only one who can reset Yer Hotel.

We don't have the option to reset our hotels ... although that might be a useful one if we get very deeply in debt.

P.S. MollyMoon, after a long absence from the site I returned to find myself one hundred thousand euros in debt!!! It is possible to recover (as I did) through lots of visiting, diligent marketing and building and plenty of time and dedication to the job.

I used the "go bankrupt" option to delete my debts. I wasn't active for a long time, had a 5
* hotel and started anew a month ago with the same hotel (had to start again from scratch tho)
