I tried to visit my hotel, which is empty, but I cannot.

What must I do to be able to visit people's hotels?

Did you try to click the button that asks if you want to restart your hotel? It is in the my account section, it makes your hotel go back to the original hotel it was when it was first built and it makes your balance go to $300.
