if you move your cursor over your hotel it will show you the inside. it will have little tabs near the roof that say 'change standard', 'redesign exterior', 'add floor' and/or 'remove floor'(if you already have added a floor.
click on 'add floor'. you need 168 dollars (or whatever you call 'ems in this virtual world). then you click okay- and you have another floor.
