Yo,

Just wondered if there's anyone else that likes collecting flags? I've played a few games which show the nationalities of people that visit you and I always find it pretty interesting.

It would be cool if that had a different effect on your hotel, or maybe you could see what percantage of visitors come from where, because I reckon at least 50% of my visitors are from the US but from other countries i've only had the one visit.

Also any good tips on getting new flags? I suppose the best way is to visit people who have flags you need, or maybe offer 2 visits to anyone who visits you from a country you dont have yet?

Any opinions? ;)

I wanted to get a certain number of flags when I first started! My goal was 15. I eventually got there, but I don't think my way of collecting flags went so well. . . .I put it somewhere in these forums. . . .but no one replied.
I think, as you said, the best way is to just visit different people and they will visit u back.

Yeh I dont think many people read the forums so not much point writing here I guess, I figured you'd probably reply though!

My goal is 50 flags I'd say, i'll start hunting for some new ones soon ;)

71 nice! I'm pretty jealous!

You're on Yarolds though right? Because that can help getting a few random countries. And I see you have added 1399 friends now, so I suppose building up a bit network and getting your name 'out there' probably helps to pull in a few new flags now and then.

I used to use Yarolds + Hydra back when they were useful, yea....just not anymore since all the big changes happened here. I'm sure they helped a bit with quite a few of the different countries though, as I've had most of that 71 for quite a while now.

71's still really impressive, probably the highest i've heard of, I guess it's at the point where it is almost impossible to get many more countries.

I'm sure I saw somewhere there are like 2000-2200 hotels in this game? And you'd expect the majority of those players are from the same countries (UK, USA, Spain, Germany etc etc)...

I stopped using Yarold's aswell after it became pointless but i'd say I got a fair few of my 'rarer' flags from there.

Yea, it seems to be one of the most for regular people playing. Muzek has 113 though. No idea how ALL of those got collected, however, LOL.

They are click- Exchanges, and used to be good ways to get a lot of visits...but recent changes to this game has made them not that helpful anymore. :/

Musek has 113, wow! Then again he has his hotel linked to his love calculator site doesnt he, so not only does he get visits but anyone from around the world can access his hotel fairly easily. Im up to 40 now so a long way to go yet :)

I've never used Hydra, Yarold's is decent. In some ways it's annoying they made it harder to use but I do like the fact it means people have to try harder. I still dont like that 'proxy' technique or whatever it is which gives people loads of anon. visitors, who can stay in 5* rooms somehow!

I don't think proxies should have been allowed, but I think click Exchanges were fair. The person still has to go there and actually click....not like it's done automaticly or something.
