Not seeing any NEW dry guests visiting since website returned, even though Marketing settings remained as they were, and unchanged both before and after the earlier web-site problem.
At the time of this post, last Dry Guest visit was a little over 16 hours ago. Plenty of rooms still open for them, etc. And Marketing settings that would normally keep 90-100 percent of the level 3 rooms full at all times.
Visits from other players seem to be working fine. Just seems to be a problem related to Dry guest visits, only.
Ok, they FINALLY started to come back now, after taking almost a full days' time off. Must have been some delay from the web-site mess, but hopefully means should be getting back to normal now that they have started to visit again.
They're coming in good now again, the rate much like before the site problem.
I'd make sure all marketing settings are still at your usual setting (wherever they were before the site problem). Mine were still the same, but other peoples could have been changed, depending on the date of the backup used for the restoration.
Other than that, it seems like they are slowly starting to re-emerge + visit normally...seems to be an average of about 20-24 hours after the restore.
-@ popstar02: You have to increase your Marketing level. The higher the level, the more you can get of them each day. But, set it too high, and it will cost more than you will actually make from them. Mid-level setting with enough rooms to hold them has worked good for me.
As for the number of flags, Dry guests still come with less than 10 flags. My newest hotel (3rd) is getting a good number of them, and it's only been open for 1-2 days and just has 5 flags so far.
