Well, I was under the mistaken impression that we would be able to keep our original hotel and lose any extras that we'd built because of the bug.
Resetting the entire game negates every minute members have spent here building up their hotels, forging networks of friends, visiting, chatting, enjoying the game.
The size of the hotel, the rooms and the money is really only part of the whole concept but it still burns to lose so much hard work, even if some of it is a result of exploitation of the bug.
Sorry Muszek, but if the whole game is going back to zero, I shall be moving on *shrug*
People might want to throw things at me for saying this...but YAY! I am glad the game will be resetting! I had no idea what I was doing to start and now I know much more and can do it right from the start...er reset! LOL
ok - I don't care about losing the two extra (even though one of them DID cost me because it took the 7000 i had saved at the time) but are you saying even our first ones are going to be reset - it took me forever to get to 5 star! - I hope you just mean you're taking the extra away and not messing with our first ones - if you are going to downgrade our first ones- well - whatever - its your game - but it will forward without me
Me too, I have all my hotels and I like them all.
And I do not want to start over. I think the game is fine. Other than having too many inappropriate names of hotels.
I just started playing this game for about 2 weeks now, but I been working darn hard during this weeks to make my hotel grow.
I sure as hell haven't exploited anything and it would be such a nuisance to start allover from scrath just because 'some' people have gotten something for nothing, so what? what's the big deal?!
I would naturally be fine with people only keeping a hotel after the restart since I see most already sold their rooms in their hotels and all, and I wouldnt mind too much building and designing my hotel again.... just as long as I recouped the cash from the bulldozed rooms and kept the cash I have already earned.
If it's a complete restart I will have to consider if I want to come back again.
bwto chill out. he has to reset so everyone is on the same playing field. its no big deal. i have 5 accounts beccause of glitchs with the game so any fixs i approve. and anyway its fun competing again to build the first big hotel. :
When a game is new it happens...things get added, like improvments, bugs get removed...and sometimes the game has to be reset.
If the server got wiped it would be the same thing! Just be glad he hasn't put up a "ALL HOTELS ARE CLOSED" sign...and was nice enough to warn us about the reset.
Sorry for all the grief your getting about the reset...I work with computers & have been a beta tester before for online games...so I guess I am just used to this kinda thing.
